Founder
Dr Doreen Konadu Bansah, known online as Dr Kay, is a GMC-registered medical doctor licensed to practise in both Ghana and the United Kingdom. She graduated at the top of her medical-school class, receiving academic awards in recognition of her outstanding performance, and is currently undertaking GP specialty training in the UK. With additional training in Cosmetic Dermatology and ongoing Level 7 training in Aesthetic Injectables at Harley Academy, Dr Kay founded Kayora to unite medical knowledge, skin science and facial aesthetics. Her approach begins with careful assessment and an evidence-based, individualised treatment plan, with an emphasis on achieving natural-looking results. Dr Kay has a particular interest in the needs of Black and melanated skin; an area that remains underrepresented in mainstream skincare and aesthetics. Through Kayora, she is building a trusted platform for inclusive, scientifically grounded care, with the ambition of becoming a leading authority on Black and melanated skin.
